A few Do's and Don'ts and other helpful information and advice for using wax melts.

DON'T ever leave a naked flame alone.

DON'T place your burner near drafts.

DO place in a well ventilated area.

DON'T injest - incase of ingestion please seek medical advice.

DO keep away from Children and pets.

DO store away, in a safe place away from Children - to a young child these could be seen as something edible.

DON'T forget to extinguish before you leave the room, house or go to bed.

DON'T ever add water to hot wax. This can be very dangerous.

DO remember hot wax can cause serious injuries.

DO remember to remove packaging from the wax melt before placing on your burner.

Do take care when extinguising tealights.

DO remember wax melts can contain dye, which can stain fabrics.

DON'T ever transport the burner whilst in use.

DON'T pour wax down the drain.

DO remember wax doesn't evaporate.

When choosing a burner there are a few things to remember. Tealight burners produce more scent release than electric. That said I have electric and have a nice scent release.

Wax melts usually have around 10 hours of scent release, depending on the scent itself, some are stronger than others.

To remove an old melt from a burner, light the tealight or turn on if electric. Leave a few seconds or so until its slightly melted around the edges then remove, place in a bag and pop into a bin. Don't forget to extinguish the tealight/turn off the burner.

Because Soy Wax is softer than Parraffin Wax, you may find it has rubbed on to the packaging, if this happens, it does not affect the product in anyway.
